Priory Farm Woodfired Pizza
During some of the summer months a wood fired pizza truck visits and serves yummy handmade pizzas.

Priory Farm is not an over developed caravan site, it's a simple set up, that offers a break from the norm. You have electric hook up, fresh water and slop out, the view is beautiful. The site is dog friendly and children free. Overlooking a traditional and old fashioned farm which is entirely occupied by Hillside Animal Sanctuary and flanked by the river Waveney on one side and woodland on the other.

St Olaves Bell

This is the oldest recorded pub in Norfolk and its garden is right alongside the river. It offers pub grub and pizza; on a sunny day you can enjoy a drink and watch the boats cruise by. In the winter, snuggle up inside with the low ceilings and a pint.

Priory Restaurant
The locally renowned Priory restaurant, is situated right next door to the caravan park, once upon a time this building was the bakehouse and brewery for the Saint Augustine monks, over the years it has been a farm building and an Apple Store, in the 70s the whole farm complex was used to grow apples for cider making.
The restaurant has seasonal opening hours, and we recommend checking them before you make your booking.
Please note: The restaurant currently only open for Sunday lunch only.

St Olaves Priory
This small Augustinian priory was founded by Roger FitzOsbert in about 1216. It is dedicated to Olaf, the 11th-century king and patron saint of Norway whose stark Christian message was 'baptism or death'.

Haddiscoe Train Station
The nearby Haddiscoe train station is a quaint little station on the historic Werry line, featured on Michael Portillo's great train journeys where he mentioned what beautiful views over the marshes, often you can see wild deer roaming.
You can take a trip to Lowestoft, where the station is just a few minutes walk from the seafront and the promenades, or you can get off at Oulton Broad, which is a 10 minute walk to the Broads where the salt water meets the freshwater. There are parks, restaurants, pubs and cafés.
Or, head off in the other direction where you can get take the train all the way in to Norwich City Centre, where there are modern shops, restaurants, cinemas and lots of other things to do, and all without taking the car or motorhome. And a healthy walk to boot.
Whether you go to Lowestoft or Norwich, you will travel over one of the Victorian hydraulic swing bridges that are still in use to this day, a little bit of history to go along with the amazing views.
